Through the course of his three decade long career, Ajay Devgn has proved his mettle not only in front of the camera, but behind it as well. The actor, who has also donned the director’s hat, is gearing up for his next directorial, Bholaa, which will also see him star in the titular role. As promised, the makers recently unveiled the trailer of the upcoming film, which will see Ajay in one of his fiercest roles yet.
The trailer introduces viewers to Tabu as a police officer, who is forced to take help from a recently released prisoner, as the two undergo a dangerous, life threatening journey. The duo have to battle their way through a dangerous ploy on their lives by a hardened criminal, and Bholaa makes sure the bad guys know his wrath.
The action packed film promises a roller coaster ride of action and gore, and is definitely not for the faint hearted. While the glossy action sequences, featuring high speed chases that defy gravity will leave you in awe, the way comes down hard on those who stand in his way, and how he is unafraid to spill blood while doing so, definitely calls for a trigger warning for how violent it is.

The upcoming film is the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil film Kaithi, which followed the story of a recently released prisoner who is forced to drive poisoned police officers to safety in order to see his daughter, while being chased by dangerous criminals.
In addition to Tabu and Ajay, the upcoming film also features Amit Pandey, Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobriyal and Makarand Deshpande in prominent roles, while Amala Paul and Abhishek Bachchan make special appearances in the film.
Bholaa will hit the big screens on March 30, 2023.
