Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Fans celebrate first anniversary of first blockbuster of 2022

Every person has a fear of one thing, and that is the fear of the unknown. This is the core flavour of the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. In the story, two strangers, namely Ruhan and Reet, cross paths, and their journey leads them to an abandoned mansion where a dreaded spirit has been trapped for 18 years.

Starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in lead roles, this film minted over a hundred crores at the box office in May 2022 – at a time when the industry was reeling under the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the success of this film, Kartik Aaryan rose to prominence in the industry. In an Instagram story posted today, Aaryan expressed gratitude to all his fans and well-wishers and wrote, “One year to this. Thank you.”

This project is directed by Anees Bazmee , written by Akash Kaushik and Farhad Samji, and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan. It also stars actors like Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Amar Upadhyay, and Sanjay Mishra in supporting roles.

Tabu also took to social media and dropped a special heartfelt post to the entire team of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The success of this film gave rise to the career of Kiara Advani as well. Now, both Kartik and Kiara will next be seen in the film SatyaPrem Ki Katha which is slated to be released on June 29. This upcoming romantic comedy is directed by Sameer Vidwans and jointly produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures.
