Kartik Aaryan is gearing up to be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which seems to offer a delightful combination of horror and humor.

The actor recently took to his official social media handles to share a new poster from the film. It features the star in character, clothed in his familiar black attire, with a few ghost-like figures hovering around him. An eerie light and ravens in the background just add to the whole spooky nature of it all.

While the actor shared the photo on Instagram with the caption, “ Miliye Meri Saheliyon Se #RoohBaba #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 dekhne aayiye 20th May, 2022 ko ” (sic).

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was planned to be released in theatres on July 31, 2020, however it was delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The film is currently scheduled to be released on May 20, 2022. In addition to Aaryan, the upcoming film also features Kiara Advani, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles. Tabu and Advani’s motion posters had also been unveiled recently. Anees Bazmee has directed the film, which is produced under the banner of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios, and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar.

The upcoming film is a standalone sequel to Priyadarshan's iconic horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which premiered in 2007 and starred Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, and Ameesh Patel. The film itself is a remake of the 1993 Malaylam film Manichitrathazhu, which starred Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi and Shobana.

Meanwhile, Aaryan is currently keeping busy with his upcoming projects, such as the Rohit Dhawan directorial Shehzada, which also stars his Luka Chuppi co-star Kriti Sanon. Aaryan’s last screen appearance was in the Netflix film Dhamaka.
