Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 OTT release: When and where to watch Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani's starrer online

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, it is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. And fans can't keep calm as they are waiting to catch a show of the sequel to the 2007 movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which featured Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the lead roles. The trailer and the songs of the film, especially the title track, have become internet sensations with many people creating reels on social media. The hype is soaring high for the film and it needs to be seen if it can live up to the expectations of the audience. 

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film, which also stars Tabu and Rajpal Yadav in important roles, will hit the theatres tomorrow. And as the trend follows, the film will be out on the OTT platform after its theatrical run. OTTplay has found that the movie will be streaming on Netflix. Yes, that's right, after the run in theatres, the film will be out on the OTT platform for the fans to enjoy the film from the comfort of their homes. 

There were several reports about which streaming giant has acquired the rights to the movie. It was also speculated that it could be out on Disney+ Hotstar since its predecessor is available on that platform. 

However, the makers and the actors have claimed that the movie is not a direct sequel to Akshay Kumar's movie, which was directed by Priyadarshan. And that is the reason why the director Anees Bazmee also decided to have a new cast. He had earlier said in an interview that he did not approach Akshay for the film as then, they would have had to start the movie from where it was left in the first installment. He had also said unlike Akshay's film, which is a psychological horror-comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is just a horror-comedy. 

Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is expected to have an opening collection of around Rs 11 crore. The film will be clashing with Kangana Ranaut's action flick Dhaakad with Arjun Rampal. As you wait for the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 to release on Netflix, catch a show of the film in theatres near you, anytime from tomorrow, May 20. An official announcement by Netflix regarding the film's OTT release and the release date is awaited.
