Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Tabu wraps filming for Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s comedy horror

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a movie that fans of Hindi cinema are eagerly looking forward to and have been impressed with each update. The latest update from the sequel to the horror-comedy is that Tabu has finished filming for her portions of the project. 

The news was shared by Tabu through social media. Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a photo from the sets of the movie with the cast and crew. Along with the photo, the actor wrote, “All’s well that ends well. Our journey of making Bhool Bhulaiyyan2 comes to an end today (sic).” 

The actor will play an important role in the sequel while Rajpal Yadav will reprise his role as Chhote Pandit from the first movie. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has Karthik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead. While the first movie was directed by Priyadarshan, the sequel is helmed by Anees Bazmee. 

The first movie, which came out in 2007, was a remake of Priyadarshan’s cult classic Malayalam movie Manichitrathazhu starring Suresh Gopi, Shobana and Mohanlal in the lead roles. Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which starred Akshay Kumar, Ameesha Patel, Shiney Ahuja, Vidya Balan, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Asrani, Rajpal Yadav and Vikram Gokhale, gained critical acclaim and became a big winner following its release. 

The sequel is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar under the banners of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios. The movie is scheduled to release on May 20 this year.

Tabu, who was last seen in an extended cameo in Jawaani Jaaneman, will also be seen in the upcoming action drama Bheeshma Parvam starring Mammootty and directed by Amal Neerad and Vishal Bhardwaj's production Kuttey.
