Back in the day, no one was even prepared for the shock that the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was about to give us in 2022. Starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead, the movie had already been through a lot of social media trolling and criticism. But when it made it to the theatres, it proved naysayers wrong, established Kartik as the new face of the franchise and also earned a massive number at the box office. This made a threequel to the franchise possible. The next thing we knew was that the makers announced Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in 2023 and the audience was left excited this time around as the team behind the sequel reunited.
But that was not all; this time around, the Anees Bazmee movie not only has Kartik Aaryan in the centre but an entire platter of interesting actors. Vidya Balan is making a comeback to the franchise after her stellar performance in the first part alongside Akshay Kumar. There is also Madhuri Dixit making her entry into the world of Bhool Bhulaiyaa in the third part. And now, if the latest reports are anything to go by, the team is all set to begin shooting for the threequel tomorrow.
As revealed in a Pinkvilla report, Kartik Aaryan, Madhuri Dixit, and Vidya Balan are all set to begin shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa as the movie goes on floors tomorrow. The three actors will start filming in Mumbai under Anees Bazmee’s direction. They are all set to have an eight-day schedule. However, it was recently announced that Animal actress Triptii Dimri has joined the cast of the film and if the report is anything to go by, she will also be joining the team soon to start shooting.
Triptii Dimri’s entry to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was confirmed recently, with a lot of buzz around it. The makers shared a hint first and an announcement later, leaving the fans of the franchise and the actor very excited about the same. Equally exciting was the announcement that welcomed Vidya Balan back to her franchise.
Sharing a post, Kartik Aaryan wrote, “And it's happening. Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa. Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya. This Diwali is going to be crackling.”
