Since the announcement, the makers have persistently set the tone for the release of this highly awaited film with an incredibly intriguing poster. After announcing the release date of April 2, 2026, the producers unveiled yet another poster and made a significant announcement, intensifying the film's comedy and horror elements. The official start of filming today only served to heighten the anticipation.

While sharing the poster, Akshay wrote on his social media pages that he was beyond excited to be on set with his favorite, Priyadarshan, as they began shooting their horror comedy, Bhooth Bangla, today. Speaking about this, a source informed the entertainment portal that Wamiqa Gabbi is poised to make a significant impact in theatres, having already captured audiences' attention in the OTT realm with films such as Bhooth Bangla and Baby John. Bhooth Bangla, a humorous film, showcases her in a prominent role, and she has already committed to the project.

Priyadarshan, along with producers Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Cape of Good Films, Akshay Kumar's production firm, brings Bhooth Bangla to the masses. Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali are both involved in producing the film. Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan wrote the script, while Akash A. Kaushik wrote the story. Rohan Shankar wrote the dialogue.
