Bhoothakalam, starring Revathy and Shane Nigam, has been receiving rave reviews since its recent release on SonyLiv. Overjoyed by the film, directed by Rahul Sadasivan, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma took to social media and shared his experience watching the Malayalam horror movie. “Not since EXORCIST, I saw a more realistic horror film than BHOOTHAKALAM,” the director tweeted. He also appreciated the director Rahul Sadasivan and the team for their brilliant work. The director also complimented Revathy and Shane for their performances.

Bhoothakalam brings back two of the extraordinary actors who were missing from the screen for a while. Undoubtedly, the duo has performed exceptionally well as the mother and son in the movie. Scripted by Sreekumar Shreyas along with the director, the movie’s camera is handled by Shehnad Jalal. Gopi Sundar has been on board for the music. Sunila Habeeb and Teresa Rani have backed the film Bhoothakalam.
