There is exciting news of South Indian movie fans living outside of the country. Prithviraj’s latest black comedy thriller Bhramam is set to be available in countries outside of India.
The movie will start streaming on Simply South from November 3. The news was shared by the social media handle of the platform and now by the star himself.
Simply South is an On-Demand movie streaming service app that provides South Indian movies, and is available outside India.
Bhramam, which is the official Malayalam remake of the hit Hindi movie Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte.
Bhramam was released on Amazon Prime Video in India and in theatres elsewhere on 7 October 2021. The movie received mixed reviews, with audiences and critics appreciating the performances of the leads, but not finding the same impact the original made.
Bhramam follows an up and coming pianist, who fakes being blind to improve his musical skills. Played by Prithviraj, the pianist soon runs into trouble after being witness to a murder and the subsequent cover up .
The movie marks cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran’s first Malayalam directorial. He has also filmed the movie. The movie has music by Jakes Bejoy and is edited by Sreekar Prasad.

Apart from Prithviraj, the movie also stars Mamta Mohandas, Raashi Khanna, Unni Mukundan, Shankar, Jagadish and Ananya among others.
