Vicky Kaushal's historical film Chhaava has taken the box office by storm. Based on Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's life, the movie entered Rs 200 crore club in six days of its theatrical release. The Laxman Utekar directorial hit the big screen on February 14. And now, Bhumi Pednekar's film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, is set to release on February 21. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about her film's theatrical release amid Chhaava's phenomenal success.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Bhumi Pednekar opened up about Mere Husband Ki Biwi's release amid Chhaava's box office success. The actress congratulated the team of Vicky Kaushal's movie and said all movies should be celebrated.

"I feel when a celebration like this happens, then the audience is in a mood to go to cinemas and I really hope that the positivity that Chhaava got in the hearts of our audiences is also reflected onto our film and I really want to congratulate Vicky, Laxman Sir, Rashmika (Mandanna), Viineet (Kumar Siingh), everybody who is associated with the film," she told the entertainment portal.
Bhumi further praised Vicky and admitted she is a big fan of him. The actress recalled that she and Vicky started their acting careers around the same time. She reminisced about working with Kaushal and called him one of the 'finest actors' of India.
"Just to see the kind of success that Chhaava has got just makes me very happy because before we can act or anything, I'm a lover of cinema," Bhumo shared.
Meanwhile, Bhumi will be seen with Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh in Mere Husband Ki Biwi. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is set to arrive in cinemas on February 21, 2025. The film is expected to have an OTT premiere on JioHotstar after its theatrical run.
