Vikram Ravichandran, the younger son of Crazy Star V Ravichandran will make his big screen debut in 10 days. His launchpad, Trivikrama will release in theatres on June 24 and will be in contention for box-office glory with three other films – Buddies, Thurthu Nirgamana and Harikathe Alla Girikathe. In the run-up to the film’s release, the makers have been releasing the songs, most of which show off Vikram’s amazing dancing skill.

While they got Century Star Shiva Rajkumar to launch the first video, Mummy Please Mummy and even do the song’s hook step with Vikram for a promotional video, only days ago they’d followed that up with a romantic number called Honey Bunny Feel My Love. And today, comes the third Shakuntala Shake Your Body Please. The song, picturized on Vikram and his leading lady Akanksha Sharma (best known for the viral hit Bollywood number Jugnu), who makes her Kannada film debut with Trivikrama, the song has been choreographed by Bhushan master, composed by Arjun Janya and written by Yogaraj Bhat. Armed with two good dancers, the choreographer presents a peppy dance number that has Vikram doing most of the heavy lifting.

Directed by HS Sahana Murthy, Trivikrama is being presented as a pan-India movie, with versions in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Vikram was meant to make his film debut a lot earlier, when a film with director Nagshekar was announced way back in 2017. While that did not take off, there were whispers of Ravichandran launching him in a home production. In fact, it had been reported that the senior actor was working on a film featuring him and both his sons, portions of which were, apparently, shot at their home during the pandemic. There’s been no official announcement, though, so, even if there is such a project in development, it is all being kept under wraps.
