Bhuvana Vijayam release date: When and where to watch Sunil, Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore’s film

First-time filmmaker Yalamanda Charan is wielding the megaphone for a crime comedy titled Bhuvana Vijayam that brings together several Telugu comedians under one roof. The film stars Sunil, Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore and Dhanraj in the lead roles and is bankrolled by Kiran and VSK under Himalaya Studio Mansions and Mirth Media.

The makers have released a series of promos, teaser and the theme song recently, piquing the interest of viewers. The team confirmed the release date today. Bhuvana Vijayam will hit screens across the globe on May 12. Lakshmi presents the film that also features Goparaju Ramana, Raj Tirandasu, Jabardasth Raghava, Ananth, Sonia Chowdary, Snehal Kamath, Shaking Seshu, Sathi Pandu and others.

Shekar Chandra scores the music for the film which has cinematography by Sai. Chota K Prasad is the editor. Amidst a series of big releases, Bhuvana Vijayam will have a tough task to draw crowds to theatres though good word-of-mouth could prove to be a game-changer. EVV Satyanarayana, Anil Ravipudi and Jandhyala are other filmmakers who have managed to unite so many comedians under one roof and entertain crowds.

Interestingly all the lead actors in the film - Sunil, Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore and Dhanraj - are simultaneously working on solo-hero projects besides taking up comedy roles in mainstream films. The theme song of Bhuvana Vijayam was unveiled by director VI Anand a few weeks ago. Chaitu Satsangi crooned for the number with lyrics by Wittu Babu.

A teaser based on Vennela Kishore’s character - Mr Rama Swamy - was out on April 23. The glimpse features several comical exchanges among Vennela Kishore, Sunil, Prudhvi Raj, Viva Harsha and Srinivas Reddy. Aditya Music acquired the music rights of the entertainer. The OTT streaming partner hasn’t been announced yet.
