Bibaho Otohpor on OTT: Where to watch Gaurav Chakrabarty and Arunima Ghosh's Bengali rom-com

These help viewers enjoy romantic scenes and feel a sense of hope and optimism, especially about overcoming obstacles in love. Like other languages, Bengali rom-coms are also popular among fans, and one such romantic-comedy, titled Bibaho Otohpor, is coming on an OTT platform with Gaurav Chakrabarty and Arunima Ghosh in the lead roles. 

Bibaho Otohpor on OTT

A new upcoming Bengali rom-com series, Bibaho Otohpor, is releasing on Fridaay platform in July. The release date is not out yet, but it will land on the platform this month. The series will also be available on OTTplay Premium.

Announcing the series, the platform shared an official poster featuring Gaurav Chakrabarty and Arunima Ghosh. They can be seen hugging each other with other characters in the background, hinting at a funny romantic story.

The caption of the post read in Bengali, "The happy wedding was completed. The music played, everyone laughed. A happy song arose. This is when the real fun will start!!"

Apart from Gaurav and Arunima, the series also stars Ashim Raychowdhury, Mou Bhattacharya, Gautam Mukherjee, and others. Produced by Camellia Productions, Bibaho Otohpor is directed by Sayantan Mukherjee. Story, dialogue, and screenplay credits go to Somnath Roy and Arindam Guha. The music director is Souvik Gupta (Savvy). 

About Gaurav Chakrabarty and Arunima Ghosh

Gaurav Chakrabarty, the son of Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, is a versatile Bengali actor known for his work in both films and television, particularly his portrayal of Byomkesh Bakshi in the TV series. He has also gained significant recognition for his voice acting in audio dramas, particularly for his role in the Sunday Suspense series.

Chakrabarty's film career includes roles in various popular Bengali movies such as Rang Milanti, Laptop, Rupkatha Noy, Highway, Eagoler Chokh, and Parineeta.

His role as Prodipto Lahiri in the Bengali musical TV series Gaaner Oparey is widely popular among fans apart from detective Byomkesh Bakshi.

On the other hand, Arunima Ghosh is also a well-known Bengali actress who is known for her versatile talent and ability to play a variety of roles, from romantic characters to complex and intense ones. Although primarily known for romantic roles, he has captivated audiences with his comedic timing and ability to convey depth and nuance in his characters.

She has appeared in notable films such as Ek Mutho Chabi, Hochheta Ki, Tangra Blues, Ek Phali Rodh, Rong Beronger Korhi, Thammar Boyfriend, and Abby Sen.
