Like other weeks, there are several big OTT releases this week, and among them, two latest OTT releases (Hindi) are: Aryan Khan's debut directorial series The Ba***ds of Bollywood and Kajol's much-awaited The Trial Season 2. In The Ba***ds of Bollywood, we have several cameos, including Shah Rukh Khan. So it will be interesting to see SRK on one side in The Ba***ds of Bollywood and Kajol on the other side, in The Trial Season 2.
The Ba*ds of Bollywood is an upcoming series about the chaotic, glamorous, and gritty world of the Bollywood film industry, directed by Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan. This series marks Aryan's debut directorial. It is set to premiere on Netflix on September 18, 2025.
The plot follows ambitious outsider Aasman Singh (Lakshya Lalwani) as he navigates the industry, with a cast including Sahher Bambba as the lead actress. The show also stars Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Gautami Kapoor, and Rajat Bedi.

Aryan Khan's directorial debut, spanning seven episodes, is undoubtedly remarkable for its larger-than-life moments. Sharing the trailer, the makers captioned their Instagram post, "Too filmy to be real. Too real to be filmy Watch The Ba***ds of Bollywood, out 18 September, only on Netflix." Towards the end of the trailer for The Ba***ds of Bollywood, we get a glimpse of SRK, introduced as the forever iconic 'Badshah' of Bollywood, but there is a hilarious twist.

Kajol will reprise lawyer Noyonika in The Trial Season 2. Season 2 picks up with lawyer Noyonika Sengupta demanding a divorce from her disgraced husband, Rajiv (Jisshu Sengupta). However, he needs public support for a political comeback, and he is not willing to give it up. As Rajiv's political ambitions clash with Noyonika's fight for freedom, the tension between them becomes more personal and intense.
Noyonika faces a new legal and political storm, dealing with her husband's political comeback, competition at her law firm, a potential love triangle, and a complicated case involving her own children.
The 2nd season of The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha explores themes of betrayal, ambition, and personal reckoning, with Noyonika facing heightened stakes both in her professional and personal life. The series also stars Sheeba Chaddha, Alyy Khan, Kubbra Sait, and new additions like Asrani and Karanvir Sharma.
