Bigg Boss 16: Ankit Gupta 'upset' and 'disappointed' with his eviction, says 'The mandali have targeted and removed me'

Ankit Gupta is the most recent participant to be sent out of the Bigg Boss 16 house. Ankit was able to last more than 12 weeks on the show despite his lack of verbal communication. Bigg Boss audience adored him for his calm demeanour. Ankit never lost his cool, not even during heated disputes. Surprisingly, the audience vote did not result in his elimination, which many fans are calling "unfair" and "pre-planned."

Ankit was booted out when Bigg Boss asked the housemates to choose the nominee who has made the least contribution to the show in the previous 24 hours out of Ankit, Sreejita De, Vikkas Manaktala, and Tina Datta. Ankit was eliminated by seven candidates, including Archana Gautam, Shiv Thakare, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. Ankit has now spoken out about being kicked off the show.

Ankit said, “Instead of me, I feel Tina should have been eliminated. She’s not contributing anything in the show. She’s not straight forward or plays on the front foot, she has taken a backseat.” Ankit went on to say that Shalin is frequently "misunderstood" on the show and lauded him for being "a genuine guy." 

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was shocked by Ankit's eviction; she initially maintained her composure but broke down in tears when she had a private moment with her former co-star. She acknowledged that she had not anticipated this and advised him to speak with the makers. Ankit urged her to maintain her to stay strong. 

With their time on Bigg Boss 16, Ankit and Priyanka rose to fame as one of the most adored couples. They were first seen together in Udaariyan. Fans are urging Priyanka to maintain her game since she is, in fact, incredibly alone. Given that fans are following suit, Ankit may possibly return to the show. Ankit was kicked out of the house, and now his supporters are criticising the makers for being harsh and insisting that Ankit was correct when he said that the eviction had nothing to do with the audience. Salman Khan also criticised Ankit for his assertions.
