Bigg Boss 16 featured a special contestant this year in the form of Tajikistani singer Abdu Rozik. The 19 year old singer instantly became a favourite among fans for his charming and cheerful demeanour, and also earned the favour of host Salman Khan as well. The young singer recently launched his first Hindi single, titled Chota Bhaijaan, in which he paid tribute to the Dabangg star.

The song was launched by Abdu on his official Youtube channel on October 8. In the music video for the song Abdu can be seen donning the outfits worn by Salman in his popular films such as Wanted and Dabangg, and showing off his dance moves as well. While announcing the song on his official social media handles, Abdu spoke about how it was his dream to launch a Hindi song ever since he was a young boy in Tajikistan listening to old cassettes of Hindi movies. He dedicated his single to Salman, crediting the actor for making Abdu want to visit India more. The singer also revealed that he had gotten a chance to be a part of Salman’s upcoming film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Although Abdu was not able to speak Hindi as yet, he is hopeful to do so soon. “I have watched, loved and listened to hindi music since i was young so here we go at the first attempt to sing hindi (sic)”, wrote Abdu.

The song’s title refers to the moniker Bhaijaan, which Salman is mostly referred to by his fans. Fans also call Abdu as Chota Bhaijaan due to the singer’s close bond with Salman. Abdu had met Salman during IIFA 2022.
