Bigg Boss 16 December 19 Written Update: Soundarya Sharma fires Shalin Bhanot and Archana Gautam as co-captains

The captains of the Bigg Boss house underwent yet another change on Day 79. The housemates were given a strange duty by the superior with an office theme, which as usual resulted in mayhem. There were plenty of arguments in the house as well. In jest, Shalin thanks Sreejita for bringing him tea. Shalin didn't enjoy it when Tina did it for him, she says, making fun of him. Stan becoming captain once would be entertaining, according to Shiv. Stan makes jokes in response to this.

A rooster's crow can be heard as everyone is dozing off. Archana is awakened by Soundarya. Sumbul wakes up Ankit and Vikkas by beginning to hammer on a dish. Sumbul stops when Tina instructs the latter two to stand up. Shalin dismisses Sumbul's antics as absurd.

Ankit is allegedly abusing the fact that some of the housemates are ill and need to relax, according to Bigg Boss. The captains are instructed by the Supreme to handle it. Archana cries and breaks down, adding that unlike her, Priyanka has Ankit to turn to when she needs a shoulder to cry on. Archana is crying, and Shiv attempts to reassure her that she is not alone. Ankit makes light-hearted jokes with Priyanka as she lies in bed.

When Bigg Boss questioned who was sick, Soundarya, Nimrit, Sajid, and Sreejita raised their hands. The Supreme claims that the atmosphere in the home has an extremely low energy level. Bigg Boss assigns the housemates a job with an office theme since Abdu is not present. Bosses and cubicles are both present. The current captains, Soundarya and Vikkas, are chosen as bosses and given the authority to exclude candidates for the captaincy. People in the cubicles are instructed to call the supervisors and provide justifications for not choosing their fellow roommates as captains.

Vikkas and Soundarya choose who to eliminate from the captaincy contest after the round. On who to choose, the two struggle to reach an understanding. Sumbul is shot from the opening captaincy round. On the phone, Ankit and Vikkas joke around and enjoy each other's company. Also letting go is Ankit.

Bigg Boss offers them some advice while Vikkas and Soundarya argue, suggesting that they exercise their own discretion rather than rely solely on phone calls. Once more, Bigg Boss gives them severe advice. Particularly in regards to Archana and Stan, the two fight over who should be fired. Tina and Ankit are having fun while Shalin is around.

Soudarya and Vikkas don't appear like they should be captains, according to Bigg Boss, especially after the job. One of them is given the opportunity to be removed from the captaincy by the other residents of the home. According to Tina, Nimrit was handed the captaincy on a silver platter, which caused mayhem. The fight between Tina and Archana rages on in the kitchen, particularly around chicken. Sreejita won't be working in the kitchen this week because she is the captain, which makes Sajid happy. Soundarya responds that she is having a crucial talk when Vikkas asks her for something. The pair embrace after crying and making up. Nimrit and Sreejita get into a fight with Priyanka.

Tina appeared to have stolen something, according to Stan. Tina yells in protest as the former clarifies that he was only joking. Then Tina lashed out at Sumbul as well, bringing up Sumbul's father in the process. The two make fun of and yell at one another.

Sajid shouldn't encourage Ankit, according to Archana, who believes he ought to be kicked out. Shiv makes jokes. Archana concurs with Soundarya's claim that Priyanka used them. Shiv and Sreejita affirm their friendship and make a commitment to open communication.
