Bigg Boss 16 broke the rule of waking up to songs on day one itself. Before one could think, this show has embraced Lock Upp’s mantra. Yes, Salman Khan’s show is adapting from Kangana Ranaut-hosted Lock Upp.

Remember how the inmates in Lock Upp woke up with sirens? Just a day after Bigg Boss announced that Bigg Boss 16 morning routine wouldn’t include waking up to Bollywood songs, we come to know that the contestants are waking up to sounds of sirens.

In fact, the makers released a promo in which Archana Gautam was heard saying that it felt like ambulance came to the house. The makers also captioned the post, “Aise morning alarm ke baad, contestants ka hoga kaisa hashar?,” confirming that it is how the housemates would wake up every morning.

Watch the promo video here:

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, who is the current captain of the house, was seen rushing everyone outside the house. When they got to the garden area as early as 8.00 am, the housemates realized that it was an alarm to wake them up.

Bigg Boss had announced on day one itself that the contestants would not get to wake up to Bollywood songs and dance on them. Soon after, he also shared that they have to recite the Bigg Boss anthem theme every morning.

Just when the viewers thought that is what would happen, the sirens were introduced. Whether the housemates will be treated like jailors, remains to be seen.

Bigg Boss 16 airs on TV and streams on Voot simultaneously. The show is available for streaming at 9.30 pm on weekends and 10 pm on weekdays.
