Bigg Boss 16 grand finale: Shalin Bhanot offered main lead in Ekta Kapoor’s Bekaboo

Remember Ekta Kapoor had revealed that she has some names in mind that she will reveal later? The producer has now revealed the name. She has offered Shalin Bhanot the main lead in her upcoming show Bekaboo.

At Bigg Boss 16 grand finale, Ekta sent a video, where she offered the role to Shalin. She revealed that she wanted to offer him the role back when she auditioned them in the house.

Of course, Shalin accepted the role. He is the first contestant to be evicted at the grand finale. Shalin was evicted with the finalists’ votes. Interestingly, the audiences also voted Shalin the lowest. Thanks to their decision, the finalists added Rs. 10 lakhs to the winner’s prize money.

Ekta had come to Bigg Boss 16 house with Dibakar Banerjee. They took auditions from Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Shiv Thakare, Shalin Bhanot, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Archana Gautam and MC Stan. The two filmmakers were finalizing someone for Love, Sex, Dhokha (LSD) 2. Eventually, they finalized Nimrit.

However, before leaving the house, Ekta said that she has two names in mind to cast. The filmmaker promised she would name them later.

Shalin is the first contestant Ekta revealed she has cast in one of her projects. The filmmaker also has a name finalized for Naagin 7.

It is well-known that Ekta had cast Tejasswi Prakash for the lead role of Naagin 6. She made the big revelation when Tejasswi picked up the trophy at Bigg Boss 15.
