Bigg Boss 16: Here's all you need to know about contestant and actor Sreejita De

Sreejita De has finally entered Bigg Boss Season 16, hosted by Salman Khan. The actor, who rose to prominence as the eponymous character in Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah, had been rumoured to go on the reality show multiple times. She is also a well-known figure on Instagram too, and we're sure fans are excited to see her bring her fashion game inside the Bigg Boss house.

Meanwhile, Sreejita De starred in Star Plus' Nazar as Dilruba and Colors TV's Uttaran as Mukta. She made her television acting debut as Gargi Tushar Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. At the same time, Ekta Kapoor gave her the role of Astha in Karam Apna Apna.

Did you know she made an appearance in the 2008 film Tashan? Yes, the actor portrayed Parvati and appeared alongside Akshay Kumar. That same year, she played Annu, the main role in the soap opera Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah.

In Uttaran, she played Mukta Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore, Tapasya's daughter, back in 2012. In the Zee TV series Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi, she played the main character, Shreya Bhushan Pethewala. In 2016, she joined the cast of Piya Rangrezz as Aradhya Shamsher Singh, which aired on Life OK. In the Star Plus series Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, she portrayed Kavya.

Sreejita has appeared in various more shows, including Mahima Shani Dev Ki, Savdhaan India, Aahat, Ssshhhh...Koi Hai, Aye Zindagi, and Chakradhari Ajay Krishna.

Aside from Tashan, Sreejita appeared in the 2011 film Luv Ka The End. In the film, the actor played one of Shraddha Kapoor's onscreen best pals. Archana Puran Singh played her on-screen mother in the film.

Sreejita also appeared as the main character in the ZEE5 series NaxalBari, which premiered in 2020.

In terms of her personal life and love affair with Michael Blohm Pape, it is reported that the actor stepped into a Mumbai restaurant with friends in January 2019 and met him there. Michael, who was born in Germany, and Sreejita were engaged later that year. She stated that the couple had planned to marry in 2020 but were unable to because of the pandemic.
