Bigg Boss 16: Munawar Faruqui not a contestant but wild card on Salman Khan’s show?

Ever since Bigg Boss 16 contestants were announced, one name has been constant – Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui. However, it now looks like Munawar might not even be a contestant on Salman Khan’s show. He might rather end up as a wild card entrant.

A tweet about Munawar being considered as a wild card entrant has been going viral. The tweet states that the makers are not interested in bringing Munawar on the show from day one.

Munawar’s last reality show was his debut in the reality show world with Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp. The stand-up comedian was supposed to be a part of Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 but due to unknown reasons, that could not materialize.

Munawar Ki Janta are not too happy with the news. They would rather that their icon either be a contestant on Bigg Boss 16 or not participate on the show at all.

The stand-up comedian has been making headlines either for the controversy associated with him or his relationship with Nazila, which Munawar made official soon after he won Lock Upp. Recently, reports suggested that he and Nazila parted ways. However, Munawar clarified that they are very much still together.

Whether Munawar makes it to the grand premiere episode or no, remains to be seen. Currently, Bigg Boss 16 might have confirmed at least contestants in Shivin Narang, Prakruti Mishra and Shalin Bhanot.

Bigg Boss 16 grand premiere would take place on October 1. Hosted by Salman Khan, the show will be available on TV from Monday-Friday at 10 pm. It will be airing on the weekends at 9.30 pm. Since the show streams earlier, you can catch it online at 9.30 pm on weekdays and 9 pm over the weekends.
