Bigg Boss 16 October 29 Written Update: Gautam becomes the enemy of the house; Phone Bhoot stars Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khattar groove with Salman Khan

Instead of Salman Khan’s usual beaming face, viewers are treated to a delightful monologue by Katrina Kaif as the Weekend Ka Vaar episode kicks off. She invites her Phone Bhoot co-stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar as well, and the trio take a tour of Salman’s sprawling villa. Katrina takes viewers on a tour of the host’s house, including the living room, gym and bedroom. As Siddhant and Ishaan goof around and make merry, their fun is rudely interrupted by Salman, and the duo make a hasty exit. Salman decides to take out his frustration on the housemates.

Salman declares that the new episode will be a ‘horror special’, on the occasion of Halloween. The house is decorated with a number of spooky decor, and the housemates dress up as well.

Salman gives Abdu Rozik the task of giving the housemates garlands of bones, based on the characteristics written on the garlands. He is first asked to garland the housemate he thinks has no brains or rarely uses their brains, and the singer garlands Ankit. Abdu chooses Sumbul Touqeer as ‘disrespectful’, and Shalin Bhanot as the person who is ‘fake’ or ‘heartless’. Abdu says Tina Datta is the most boring and Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary is a liar.

The host then plays the ‘Dhaam’ game. He gives Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia a chance to shift to Shiv Thakare’s room, but the catch is that she must also take half of her rations to the room as well. The actress denies to do so as she feels it would not be fair to deprive people of ration just so she can move.

Salman offers Gautam Singh the captaincy, if the latter will give up all of the house’s ration. Gautam denies to do so at first, but when Salman gives him more time, Gautam accepts. The entire house is furious with him, especially Sajid and Stan and Shiv has to hold back Sajid from taking his anger out on Gautam. Soundarya Sharma tries to make Gautam reconsider his decision. Archana Gautam starts yelling. Priyanka and Nimrit talk to Gautam. Even Abdu is furious with Gautam. Gautam says that everyone had called him selfish, and refuses to listen to Priyanka and Nimrit. Soundarya tries to defend Gautam against the whole house.

Gautam tries to reverse his decision, and tells Bigg Boss that he had heard it wrong. Bigg Boss refuses to accept his excuse, and refuses to let him reverse the decision, despite Gautam apologising profusely. People arrive to take away the ration. Archana breaks down seeing this. Abdu gets angry, and Sajid assures that he will get the former food.

Tina and Shalin argue over Sumbul. Soundarya sobs as she talks with Gautam. Ankit advises Sajid not to be so hyper, warning the latter of repercussions.

Gautam even tells Salman that he made the wrong decision, and tries to justify and find excuses. Salman tries to tell Gautam that he should remain steadfast in his decision, saying that they would never sacrifice their food for him. Gautam finally remarks that he did actually take the right decision, after talking to Salman.

Nimrit,Soundarya, Gautam, Shiv, Abdu and Gori are nominated for eviction this week. But in a twist of events, Salman calls Gautam’s name, as his captaincy would only come into effect from next week. Shalin comforts Gautam thinking the latter is leaving, and Salman questions why he did so. Shalin says he was showing humanity, and Salman refuses to accept it. The housemates are overjoyed thinking that Gautam will leave.

But Salman declares that the celebrations were premature, and Gautam is safe from eviction, much to the relief of a sobbing Soundarya. Salman scolds people for nominating Abdu, giving their reasoning that the singer is strong. The host declares that Abdu is leaving the house, and the housemates are shocked and sad, just then Salman reveals that Abdu is safe. The host says that everyone is safe from eviction, and that he wants to see everyone go hungry from Gautam’s decision.

Katrina is welcomed by Salman, and the actress says that she came onto the show as a medium, so that Salman can communicate with his ghostly fans as well. The duo play with a ouija board, taking ghostly requests. Salman dances with Katrina and the host also sings as well. Salman also says that he would haunt Vicky Kaushal, if the former was a ghost. Siddhant and Ishaan also arrive, and the duo recreate a scene from Andaz Apna Apna. The trio talk about their upcoming film, Phone Bhoot as well.

Siddhant and Ishaan are sent into the house to mess with the housemates. They arrive with bananas as gifts. Salman and Katrina communicate with the two, and make them give the housemates tasks, without the latter knowing. Katrina also goes into the house. The trio tell the housemates to exorcise the demons in people with a broom.

As per the task, Sajid says Gautam has the ghost of greed, and Abdu also chooses Gautam. Tina, Nimrit,Gori,Archana,Priyanka,Sumbul call Gautam selfish. Shiv also tries to exorcise Gautam and Shalin, the latter for his ‘acting’ on a reality show. Stan chooses Archana. Gautam chooses Nimrit. Soundarya chooses Shiv. Ankit chooses Sumbul. Shalin chooses Tina, saying that Tina has a crush on Siddhant.

MC Stan and Siddhant bust out a rap. Shiv dances with Siddhant and Ishaan. Bigg Boss offers the housemates food for the night as a special treat.
