Salman Khan has addressed the rumours regarding his renumeration on Bigg Boss 16. The actor had a rather hilarious response on reports about him receiving Rs. 1000 crores for the show. This actor even dragged Income Tax, ED (Enforcement Directorate) and lawyers in his reply.
Bigg Boss 16 actor-host, at the recently hosted press conference of the show, laughed off the rumours as he said, “Mujhe yeh mil jaaye na toh main life mein nahi kaam karu.”
While still hopeful that he might earn that kind of money someday, Salman also hilariously recalled how he has to spend all his money behind lawyers. “Milega bhi, jo ki hai nahi, toh mere aise kharche hai jo ki – lawyers ki fees bahut hai. Sab usme chala jaata hai,” he said.
Calling lawyers Salman, the actor joked, “Yahan pe Salman Khan (actor-host) kamaata hai, wahan pe Salman Khan (lawyer) leke jaata hai.” In a mimicry voice, Salman then said, “Aaye aaye aaye, gaye gaye gaye.”
The actor asserted that he definitely does not earn Rs. 1000 crores. In fact, he went on to claim that he doesn’t receive even 1/4th of the reported renumeration (Rs. 250 crores).
Salman then teased the media and fans. He also dragged IT and ED in the conversation while stating, “Yeh jo badha chadha ke media aur fans figures nikaalte hai, bhai yeh IT aur ED bhi notice karta hai. Woh aate hai aur phir unko pata chalta hai haqeeqat kya hai. Samjha?”
Salman is coming back as Bigg Boss host for the 12th time on the show. The actor is, however, for the first time, not going to be hosting the show over the weekend. Salman will be seen on Bigg Boss 16 on Friday and Saturday.
Bigg Boss 16 will premiere on TV and OTT on October 1. The show will be airing from 9.30 pm and streaming on Voot from 9 pm.
