Bigg Boss 17’s Family Week proves to be an emotional reunion for all the contestants who have been away from their families for so long

Since this is the ongoing Family week, there is expected that the relatives of the contestants will be invited to meet their children. Today, it was Ankita Lokhande’s mother who came and met her daughter Ankita, her son in law Vicky Jain and other contestants. Her mother makes her understand that she needs to take her own stand.
She also gives out a cryptic clue stating that, besides each other, they should not trust anyone else! After Ankita Lokhande’s mother, its now the turn of Ranjana Jain, the mother of Vicky Jain. The moment she steps in, Mannara Chopra welcomes her with a chocolate... only to realise that she is in the ‘freeze’ position, as ordered by Bigg Boss! Vicky Jain’s mother impresses everyone with her impromptu shayaris!
This is followed by Bigg Boss springing a surprise of a lifetime to Arun Mashetty in the form of his wife. Arun, who is extremely happy to see his wife after so long, breaks into tears after seeing her and vice versa.
At that time, his wife takes a promise from him stating that he should be really strong to hear something that she is about to tell. And, when Arun promises that he will be strong, his wife tells him that she had a miscarriage of their second child. Hearing that, both Arun and his wife cry uncontrollably!
Bigg Boss, then, applauds Arun’s wife for showing immense strength during such a challenging situation. At the same time, Bigg Boss also tells Arun that, because his wife had only insisted that the said news would be told by her to him, they (the show’s makers) did not tell him anything about her miscarriage anytime before.
On the other hand, Vicky’s mother makes both, Vicky and Ankita that they should not fight in full public view. She tells Ankita’s mother that they should act as guide to the husband-and-wife duo. She also requests Ankita and Vicky to treat each other as God and Goddess since there are only 15 days left for the show to wrap up!
While Ankita’s mother tells them that they both (Ankita and Vicky) look extremely good in their choices of dresses, Vicky’s mother, on the other hand, tells Ankita that she is not bothered about their dresses. But what really matters to her is the language used by them both. Bigg Boss, then, allows Ankita and Vicky’s mother to speak to each other alone. Ankita, expresses her sadness to Vicky’s mother because she had spoken to her mother about her behaviour.
