Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui is going through a tough time on Bigg Boss 17. He has been accused of multiple things by Ayesha Khan. While the actress initially alleged that Munawar was double-dating her and Nazila, she recently made shocking claims about Faruqui. Ayesha claimed that Munawar cheated on his ex-wife and Nazila. Amid this controversy, actor Karan Kundrra has come out in support of Munawar Faruqui.
Karan Kundrra takes a stand for Munawar Faruqui
Karan Kundrra took to his official X account and shared a tweet in favour of Munawar Faruqui. The actor has known the stand-up comedian since his Lock Upp days. While Karan was the host of that reality show, Faruqui was a contestant, who eventually emerged as the winner of the show.
After watching Munawar in trouble on Bigg Boss 17, Karan tweeted, "rokenge.. tujhe rukna nai hai.. todhenge.. tujhe tootna nai hai.. bass chalte rehna hai.. hum khade hain tere saath aur koi chaiye bhi nai hain..(sic)." Responding to the actor's tweet, several of Munawar Faruqui's fans thanked Karan Kundrra for coming out in support of the stand-up comedian.

Meanwhile, Munawar's journey was majorly impacted after Ayesha Khan entered the reality show. After the actress made startling claims about him, Faruqui went into a shell. In the last episode, he had an emotional breakdown after Ayesha levelled serious allegations against him. The BB 17 contestant admitted that he wronged the actress amid his personal life issues. He also asked everyone to forgive him if they could.
Karan Johar to slam Ayesha Khan?
As per social media buzz, Karan Johar has shot for BB 17's Weekend Ka Vaar this time instead of Salman Khan. The filmmaker will reportedly slam Ayesha for exposing Munawar after he nominated the actress. As for Bigg Boss 17 as a show, which airs on Colors TV, it will conclude on January 28, 2024.
