Bigg Boss 17: Shah Rukh Khan to join Salman Khan’s show ahead of Dunki release?

Amidst news about fake Dunki promotions, there is another rumour that is making the rounds. This time, it appears that SRK could appear on Bigg Boss 17. If that happens, he will join his friend Salman Khan on the show. Salman hosts the show on Friday and Saturday for Shukravaar Ka Vaar and Shanivaar Ka Vaar. He used to initially host Weekend Ka Vaar but his brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan have joined the TV show this year for Just Chill for the Sunday episode.

Christmas special episode

Since the next weekend will be right ahead of Christmas, it will be a Christmas special episode. Interestingly, SRK is also releasing his film Dunki on December 21, a day before the Bigg Boss 17 episode with Salman airs.

To promote Dunki alone or with cast?

It would be interesting to see whether Shah Rukh Khan promotes Dunki alone, thus giving us more SRK-Salman (usually called Karan-Arjun owing to their film) moments or bring others associated with the film. The two could recently be seen in Tiger 3, in which SRK's Pathaan made a special appearance. Shah Rukh Khan could be accompanied by Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal or Rajkumar Hirani or all.

Dunki marks Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s first ever collaboration. It brings Rajkumar also back since Sanju. The film stars Taapsee Pannu as the female lead and Vicky Kaushal in a pivotal role.

Dunki is SRK’s third film of 2023 after Pathaan and Jawan. The actor has delivered the highest hits throughout the year. When Pathaan released in January, it remained the highest-grossing film for the longest time. Atlee’s Jawan broke those records and currently, is the highest grossing film of the year.
