Bigg Boss is currently on its 18th episode and with each passing day, the show gets more and more interesting. Filmmaker Farah Khan recently took over the stage as she hosted the Weekend Ka Vaar episode instead of Salman Khan. While she called out the contestants for their behaviors in the show, one of the contestants, Shilpa Shirodkar was seen sharing a throwback story. The actress revealed that she was approached for the hit song Chaiyya Chaiyya but was eventually rejected. Here's the entire story!
Shilpa Shirodkar reveals she was rejected for Chaiyya Chaiyya
In tonight's episode of Bigg Boss 18, Shilpa Shirodkar will be seen talking to Karanveer Mehra and Chum Daran where she recalled the time when Farah Khan approached her for Shah Rukh Khan and Malaika Arora's hit song 'Chaiyya Chaiyya. She said, "She (Farah) approached me for Chaiyya Chaiyya." She went on to reveal that Farah asked her to lose weight in order to feature in the song. The actress revealed after a week or ten days Farah rejected her and refused to take her in the song.
Curious Karan Veer Mehra then asked her if she did not get the part as she did not lose weight, to which Shilpa said that Farah told her, "You are fat for the song." Karan then started laughing while Shilpa revealed that Malaika Arora was then cast opposite Shah Rukh Khan for the song and said that only Farah and the film's director Mani Ratnam could tell why she was rejected from the song.
Meanwhile, the nominated contestants of this week from the Bigg Boss 18 house are Shilpa Shirodkar, Sara Arfeen Khan, Chum Darang, Kashish Kapoor, Digvijay Rathee, and Karan Veer Mehra.
