Bigg Boss 19 has kickstarted with a grand premiere today (August 24). Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is back as the host of this highly popular reality show. Fans have been anxiously waiting for the contestants to be revealed for this season. The wait is now finally over as Salman Khan welcomed its first contestant, and it’s none other than the young and talented actress Ashnoor Kaur. Who is Ashnoor Kaur?
Ashnoor Kaur was introduced as Bigg Boss 19, or BB19’s, first contestant. She entered the Bigg Boss house in a stylish dance performance. Dolled up in pink, Ashnoor exuded elegance as she shared the screen with BB 19 host Salman Khan. The 21-year-old actress debuted in television with the historical drama Jhansi Ki Rani, as she played Baji Rao's young daughter. She was just five years old when she stepped into the world of acting and since then has appeared in many popular TV serials like Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (played Naira Singhania), Patiala Babes (played Babita) and also appeared in the titular role in Suman Indori. Other classic shows include Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, CID, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and Mahabharat.

Not just TV but Ashnoor has also featured in Bollywood films. After a cameo in Sanju, she was seen playing Taapsee Pannu's sister in Anurag Kashyap's romantic drama film Manmarziyaan.
