Whether it is battling her conservative Kashmiri family to pursue her acting goals or facing personal issues, Farhana has had her own stand.
In terms of educational background, Farhana has pursued Mass Communication and Journalism and later a Diploma in Acting from Mumbai. Early career
Farhana had a troubled childhood, as she revealed her father left their family for someone else when she was barely four months old. This one decision changed her whole life. At the age of 8, Farhana began her modelling career and also faced flak from relatives for the same.

Farhana faced death threats for her bold take on various matters and voicing her opinions. “Imagine a girl who just wanted to speak the truth, faced death threats for that, but I’ve never changed my path,” she shared in her intro video. Laila Majnu was Farhana’s career breakthrough in the world of Hindi cinema, where she gained fame and recognition but unfortunately faced character assassination and disrespect.
