Bigg Boss 7 Telugu runner-up, Amardeep turns hero, to romance social media sensation Supreetha

Amardeep Choudhary, who has become a household name with the popular reality show, Bigg Boss, is now all set to become a hero. He is all set to play the lead in a romantic drama directed by Mallyadri Reddy. The film was launched in Hyderabad today and star producer AM Rathnam was the chief guest at the event.

This movie is quite special as it marks the debut of popular character actor, Surekha Vani's daughter, Supreetha as the female lead. Supreetha is a social media sensation in Telugu states and has a decent following. Well-known producer, Mahendra Nath Kundla is bankrolling the film as Production No. 2 under Maharshi Kundla's banner M3 Media in association with Maha Movies.

Speaking to the media, Amardeep Choudhary said, “I had signed this film before I went to the Bigg Boss. Director Mallya is my friend and he has written and designed this film, especially for me. I am happy to work with Supreetha, the star on social media and we are coming up with a unique point which will be loved by one and all".

Supreetha thanked the director and producer for considering her for this role and said, "My dream to become an actress has finally come true. It is a proud moment for my mom and I am happy to share screen space with Amar who is also a star in himself".

Speaking at the launch, popular actor Surekha Vani said, “When I heard about this project, I wondered whether this project would be made in the first place. But because of comedian Raghu, this is going forward. I have immense trust in the producer and director and feel my daughter is getting a perfect launch in Telugu cinema and I cannot wait to see her on the big screen".
