The grand finale of Bigg Boss Tamil season 9 has unveiled its winner and who will walk with the cash prize along with a car from branded company. The show hosted by Vijay Sethupathi streamed on JioHotstar via OTTTplay Premium. After much waiting, Divya Ganesh has been crowned as the winner of the season, and will walk with cash prize of Rs 50 lakh. Sabarinathan has finished as the runner-up. The second runner up is Vikkals Vikram.

The grand finale of Bigg Boss Tamil season 9 is streaming on JioHotstar and subscribers of OTTplay Premium can watch it. After spending 105 days inside the house, Sabari and Divya Ganesh were the last two contestants left. Subsequently, Divya Ganesh who entered the show as wildcard entrant, bagged the title. It is to be noted that Divya is the second wildcard entrant to win the title, in the history of the show. Previously, Archana Ravichandran had won in the seventh season.
“I am very nervous. It is my first trophy. I have worked in many roles, and shows, attended award shows. But I have never gone beyond nominations. When I got this offer, many asked me to not to go. But it was a big platform and I took the call. I wanted to create a space for myself and came inside, but people showered love on me for being me,” Divya said.
Meanwhile, Sabarinathan finished as runner-up. He also expressed his happiness for reaching this stage and tell his heart is full. “I thank my co-contestants, and people who saw me all this while.”

Following the eviction of Aurora Sinclair, the second finalist to leave the show is Vikkals Vikram. Speaking about result, Vikram thanked everyone inside the house who had belief in him, and also welcomed the advice of his supporters from outside. “I have won more relationships inside the house and it is the first time inside this house I made my parents proud,” he added.

Bigg Boss Tamil season 9 grand finale began with four finalists. Vikkals Vikram, Aurora Sinclair, Sabarinathan and Divya Ganesh stood lasting the finale. However, Aurora Sinclair who was the first finalist, was evicted first during the finale. Aurora expressed that she expected to finish among the top three but said she would like to concentrate on higher education to prove she has beauty and brains.

For their actions, they were given red card and never got a chance for a formal good bye. However, they returned to the finale and expressed their support to the finalists. VJ Paru and Sandra also reconciled and hugged it out to make peace with each other.
