Bigg Boss 9 Telugu Agnipariksha promo out: Pre-show brings fun, drama, and emotional stories

Now, we were the first to reveal that a special pre-show titled Agnipariksha will be shot to finalize the commoners who will enter the main show.

As reported, the show is being filmed in Hyderabad, and the makers have finally unveiled the first-look promo of Bigg Boss 9 Telugu: Agnipariksha. The show is hosted by star anchor Sreemukhi, who was also one of the runners-up in a previous season. For the first time, Navdeep, Abhijeet, and Bindu Madhavi will be judging the contestants.

The makers have introduced a few commoners from diverse walks of life, including an athlete, an elderly woman, a differently-abled person, and a few social media influencers. Contestants are asked to perform different tasks, and based on their performance, judges decide their fate. A green flag signals approval, while a red flag indicates rejection. All of this has been showcased in a fun and engaging manner in the promo.

Interestingly, noted actor Teja Sajja also appears in the promo to promote his upcoming film Mirai. Along with entertainment, there are also heartfelt stories from some participants, adding an emotional touch. With a mix of young and old contestants, the buzz around Agnipariksha is already strong.

The pre-show will stream exclusively on JioHotstar from August 22, 2025, while the main show premieres on September 7, 2025. Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 9 Telugu will be hosted once again by Akkineni Nagarjuna, who is also said to be involved in selecting the final list of contestants.
