Bigg Boss now has its own emoticon on Twitter. The emoji came in after Bigg Boss became one of the most spoken about shows in India. Every time, a user on Twitter uses #BiggBoss to tweet something, they will see the emoji hereon.
The emoji is that of a dialogue box. Bigg Boss is written in the dialogue box. The dialogue box is half red and half blue coloured. The same hints at the fire and ice behaviour of the contestants in the house.
Here are some examples of that:
The emoticon is not limited to Bigg Boss Hindi. The emoji can be seen when a person tweets #BiggBossTwitter, #BBTwitter, #BiggBoss, #BiggBossTelugu, #BiggBossMarathi, #BiggBossTamil, #BiggBossKannada and #BiggBossMalayalam.
At the launch of the emoji, Cheryl-Ann Couto from Twitter India clarified, “While the Hindi edition of the show continues to be the biggest in terms of volume of conversation on Twitter, other language editions, especially BiggBoss Telugu, Tamil, and Marathi are rapidly growing. We wanted to recognise and celebrate this vibrant, growing audience and conversation with a special custom emoji.”
Bigg Boss is a show that has been in the news for over half a decade. The show was launched nearly 15 years ago.
Currently, Bigg Boss Marathi, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil are heading for their finale. While Bigg Boss Marathi and Bigg Boss Telugu are going to have a finale soon, the dates for Bigg Boss 15 and Bigg Boss Tamil finale are not out yet.
