777 Charlie star Sangeetha Sringeri was thought to be one of the sure-shot participants of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10. But when the time came, as per the new rules of contestant selections, which had the audience voting for each of them, Sangeetha joined a bunch of others, including Drone Prathap, Tanisha Kuppanda and Rakshak Bullet, in the waiting room, having got a certain percentage of votes that saved them from immediate elimination but failed in making it directly in the house. Dressed in orange jumpsuits, these contestants were eventually allowed to be in the house, but have one week to prove their worthiness to remain on the show.
With elimination nominations beginning in the first week itself, tempers have been flaring and one such resulted in a spat between Sangeetha and her former Hara Hara Mahadev co-star Vinay Gowda. In a promo for tonight’s episode, the duo can be seen bickering about her failure to comply to Bigg Boss house rules, which he points out, much to her chagrin. The duo have a not-too-pleasant exchange of words over this. Sangeetha has a lot riding on the tasks of the week and will fight tooth-and-nail for a place on the show. So, if this is any indication of how things will be in this edition of ‘Happy Bigg Boss’, not many are likely to be very happy in the house.
Bigg Boss Kannada Season got off to a grand start on October 8. The show was expected to have one of the dogs that played Charlie in 777 Charlie in the house, but so far, there’s been no sign of her. Even MLA Pradeep Eshwar, who entered as a contestant, left after only a day, in another twist move by the showrunners.
