Uday Surya's elimination from the Bigg Boss Kannada OTT house has surely shocked many. As someone who was touted to be a strong contender to go the distance on the show, Uday seemed to have ticked all the right boxes during the majority of his stay. He was bustling with energy, managed to strike the chord with almost every individual inside, and even showed a lot of promise in the team tasks: however, things turned on their head within no time and one lapse in judgement, by his own admission, cost him the spot.

For the uninitiated, Uday Surya's reputation among the housemates and the audience took a hit when his alleged 'character assassination' attempts came out in public. In a conversation with Chaitra Hallikeri, Uday would speak ill of Saanya Iyer and claim that the latter was making strategic moves inside the house through her defamed equations with Roopesh Shetty and Jashwanth Bopanna. Matters would get worse when Nandini, Jashwant's real-life partner, would take offence to Uday's rumour-mongering and confront him furiously along with the others. Uday Surya, who was nominated that week, would then be eliminated following the traditional audience voting process.

Uday would then show up the next day to speak to host Kiccha Sudeep and reflect on his 20-odd days' journey. Stating that he was emotionally overwhelmed inside the house which, in turn, led to him being too defensive about himself, Uday reckoned that he forgot to play a game inside and it was already too late by the time he realized where he went wrong.

When Sudeep asked him about his friendship with Chaitra Hallikeri and whether there's any scope to resume that once the show is over, Uday Surya asserted that he is willing to give it a fair shot if there is any attempt from the other side. "No negative feelings towards anyone," he would add.

In the same vein, when quizzed about the upcoming elimination (Week #4), Uday said that Chaitra is likely to get the axe pretty soon. He would add that Chaitra has essentially survived so far because of his support and that her weak performances in the tasks could now come to the audience's attention.

Uday also shared that Rakesh Adiga, Somanna Machimada, and Akshatha Kukki looked good to be in the final 3, adding that while Nandini is playing to her potential on the show, she still doesn't deserve to win it.
