Bigg Boss Kannada OTT: Saanya Iyer and Roopesh Shetty's friendship gets a romantic twist with a love confession!

Amid the growing rumors surrounding a possible romantic link between contestants Rakesh Adiga and Spoorthi Gowda, a new love story seems to be blossoming on the side. In the latest developments inside the Bigg Boss Kannada OTT house, former RJ and popular Tuluva star Roopesh Shetty and TV actress Sanya Iyer seem to have struck a chord to provoke a new set of speculations.

Although there isn’t any evidence to substantiate the same, the duo’s housemates too appear quite keen on this union as they go around poking fun at both Roopesh and Saanya. Although they both brushed it off by quoting the cliched “we are just friends” stuff, the fun back and forth between the contestants and light-heartedness of the budding romance has surely made things pleasant inside the house.

And the fact that Jashwanth Bopanna offered his wingman services to Roopesh, or that Somanna Machimada saw the two as a winning movie jodi, makes all the speculations worthwhile.

31-year-old Roopesh Shetty began his show business career as a YouTuber before going on to try his hand at being a radio jockey and VJ in Mangalore. However, it was his acting stints that would bring him prominence as he found tremendous success in Tulu cinema with comedy films like Ammer Polisa, Girgit, and other Tulu superhits to his name (as a lead actor, also co-director of Girgit). He also starred in the recent Kannada film Govinda Govinda.

Saanya Iyer, on the other hand, first shot to fame as a model before landing a prominent role in the hit TV serial Putta Gowri Maduve. She also enjoys a credible social media following and is an active content creator.

In other Bigg Boss news, TV actor Arjun Ramesh was elected as this inaugural season’s first house captain. The Mahakali and Naagini actor was picked as the captain through a rigorous nomination process through which he was adjudged an undisputed victor.
