For most of the week, Jayshree Aradhya appeared to be the frontrunner to be eliminated, especially after her performance during the captaincy task, where Bigg Boss had to intervene and stop her from distracting them with a deodorant spray. Jayshree was eventually voted Kalape and had to spend 24 hours in the Bigg Boss jail. As a punishment, she was also nominated for week 4 elimination, if she were to survive week 3.
During the panchayat with host Kiccha Sudeep, he took Jayshree to task over her unfair performance, but the bigger issue of the week turned out to be Uday Surya’s conversation with Chythrra, wherein he spoke about Sanya Iyer, in not the best light. Chythrra, however, did not like the way he went about character assassinating not only Sanya, but Jashwant and Nandini too. The issue snowballed into a major showdown, with Uday maintaining that what he said was not meant with malice. While Sudeep was appreciative of how Chythrra handled the situation, he added that the same could not be said about Jayshree, as it appeared that she was enjoying the proceedings.
Although he repeatedly apologized, it was too late for Uday Surya, as audiences too took objection to his behaviour and voted him out. On his way out of the house, Uday kept protesting that he is not a bad person.
Halfway through the first-ever season of Bigg Boss Kannada OTT, there are only 11 contestants left. While Lokesh Kumar and Arjun Ramesh had to leave owing to medical reasons, as they sustained injuries during tasks, Kiran Yogeshwari and Spoorthy Gowda were eliminated based on votes. Spoorthy’s eviction came shortly after she spent 24 hours in the Bigg Boss house jail, so it was expected that Jayshree would follow suit, but Uday sealed his fate with his ‘double game’.
