Bigg Boss Kannada is back for a milestone 10thseason. Hosted by Kiccha Sudeep, the popular reality show has moved to a new house and kickstarts on October 8 with the grand premiere, to be telecast 6.30 pm onward. This, however, is not a live show, and shooting for the same is currently underway. According to reports, Naagini 2 actress Namratha Gowda is inside the house, as also Miss Trans Queen India 2019, Neethu Vanajakshi. Following her, next up was Hara Hara Mahedev actor Vinay Gowda and then late actor Bullet Prakash’s son Rakshak, who was seen in Guru Shishyaru, former cricketer Vinay Kumar, wildlife conservationist Snake Shyam, rapper Ishani, Chandraprabha of Maja Bharath fame.

Ever since Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 was announced, fans have been urging showrunners not to repeat the Season 9 format, which had a mix of previous popular contestants, including the top four from the OTT season and a bunch of newcomers. Season 9 was skewed in favour of these praveenaru, with most of the naveenaru voted out in the early stages of the show. However, it is being said that this season could see a couple of former participants also in the house. Names like Pratham, Nandini and Somanna Machimada are being heard. The show will also have one of the dogs featured in 777 Charlie in the house.

In the last few days, several names came up as potential contestants, including actors Advithi Shetty, Ranjani Raghavan and Rajesh Dhruva, all of who issued denials on social media. Given that this is the milestone 10th year of the show, the showrunners have said that the ongoing theme would be 100 happy festive days. The show will be telecast on Colors Kannada every day at 9.30 pm, with 24*7 coverage on JioCinema, where it can be streamed for free.
