Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9: Aryavardhan ousted in mid-week eliminations?

We are only a couple of days away from the grand finale of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 but before the winner is crowned, contestants will have to survive the midweek eliminations. One among the six remaining contestants will be evicted from the show in the Wednesday, December 28, episode and social media is currently abuzz speculating who will get the axe. 

Recently, we at OTTplay had hypothesized that it could come down to either Aryavardhan or Rupesh Rajanna during the midweek eliminations, considering that the pre-finale polls favoured the other remaining fou - Roopesh Shetty, Rakesh Adiga, Divya Uruduga, and Deepika Das. While Rakesh and Roopesh remain the favourites by a clear margin, Divya Uruduga and Deepika Das too boast their own shares of popularity, leaving Aryavardhan and Rupesh Rajanna down at the bottom, needing some kind of intervention.

Earlier this week, several celebrities like RJ Prithvi, Priyanka Shivanna, Bhoomi Shetty, and Vasuki Vaibhav voiced their support for Deepika Das and urged their followers to vote for her in the race to the BBK9 throne. Deepika, whose first Bigg Boss Kannada stint was in the seventh season, came into season 9 as a 'veteran' but was eliminated in the eighth week. She would return to the competition only two days later as a wildcard entry.

Coming back to the mid-week eliminations, the latest online reports reveal that Aryavardhan will finally bid adieu to the show which will be part of the upcoming Wednesday episode. Interestingly, all six contestants have been kept in the dark about the upcoming elimination and as the latest promo reveals, the showrunners have chosen a rather peculiar way to announce who would exit the show. 

Aryavardhan began his Bigg Boss journey with the OTT edition in which he finished in the top 4, along with Roopesh Shetty, Rakesh Adiga, and Saanya Iyer. As per the same online reports, he has managed to earn close to Rs. 25 lakhs during his stay inside the house.
