The Grand Finale of the Kichcha Sudeepa-hosted Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 kicked off on an exciting note, which, as tradition has it, included a reunion of evicted contestants and a special dedication to the finalists. Here's all you need to know about the final episode of the current season that will air tonight on Colors Kannada…
Meet the finalists
From 15 contestants it was down to five finalists on the evening of December 30, which is when the grand finale began. The five finalists were Divya Uruduga, Rakesh Adiga, Rupesh Rajanna, Deepika Das and Roopesh Shetty.
Divya Uruduga gets evicted
Last night, Divya Uruduga was the first finalist to be evicted from the Bigg Boss House. And it was an action-packed exit. She first thanked Bigg Boss for the opportunity to be in the house. When speaking to Sudeep after her eviction was announced, Divya was visibly irked by former contestant Prashanth Sambargi's statement that she managed to stay for 99 days in the Bigg Boss house only due to sheer luck. Divya told Sudeep that she stayed this long because she worked hard and gave her best during all the tasks. She then got emotional while the AV of her entire Bigg Boss journey was played. She took home a cash prize of ₹2 lakh.
The final four
Post Divya's eviction, the four contestants who are vying for the trophy are Roopesh Shetty, Deepika Das, Rakesh Adiga and Rupesh Rajanna.

Apart from the Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 trophy, the winner also takes home ₹50 lakh as prize money. The first runner-up takes home ₹10 lakh.
Who is touted to win?
If popular opinion is to go by, both Rakesh Adiga and Roopesh Shetty are touted to win. It is, therefore, likely that one of them will be the winner of BB Season 9 and the other the runner-up. Who the eventual winner is will be revealed at 7.30 pm on December 31.
