The week 7 Super Sunday episode of Bigg Boss Kannada marked the 50th day of the ongoing season and as a result, both fans and the contestants were in for a special surprise. As usual, Kiccha Sudeep swaggered onto the stage to resume his hosting duties and engage the remaining 12 contestants in some fun and banter.

With as many as 10 contestants nominated this past week, the voting results were sure to be interesting considering the fact that the likes of Rupesh Rajanna and a few others seemed already on thin ice, so to speak. Rakesh Adiga, Roopesh Shetty, Aryavardhan Guruji, and a few other top contenders were up for elimination this week and any unlikely outcome meant that the course of events would change considerably.

So, as the drama unfolded and Kiccha Sudeep announced that, barring Rupesh Rajanna and Aryavardhan, everyone was safe to proceed to week #8, it seemed as though that Rupesh's stint had finally come to an end. However, on the contrary, Sudeep revealed that it was Aryavardhan who was evicted from the house, leaving many of his housemates baffled. So much so that Roopesh Shetty, Aryavardhan's housemate since the Bigg Boss Kannada OTT days, could not help but burst into tears over the developments. 

But, luckily, his grief was short-lived as Bigg Boss himself announced that this was, quite indeed, a FAKE elimination and that Aryavardhan was safe to move into week #8 of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9. This drew a huge cheer from all the contestants but caused Aryavardhan, who was at the exit doors while the announcement was made, to be inconsolable with tears. It was then up to Kiccha Sudeep himself to pacify him by revealing that this was a no-elimination episode and that the voting lines remained unopened throughout the week. 

Well, as the same lot now enters week 8 and begins the proceedings all over again, it would interesting who makes the best use of the extra leash that Bigg Boss has lent them all. More updates to follow soon.
