Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9: Neha Gowda becomes 5th contestant to exit the show

The fifth round of eliminations has come to an end inside the Bigg Boss Kannada house. With as many 9 of the remaining 15 contestants facing the threat of elimination, Neha Gowda ended up getting the axe and becoming the 5th eliminated contestant of the ongoing season 9. 

The previous week saw popular contestants such as Roopesh Shetty and Rakesh Adiga be nominated by their housemates and as a result, patrons of the show were curious to know the outcome of this interesting iteration. Joining them in the elimination zone were Deepika Das, Roopesh Rajanna, Amulya Gowda, Prashanth Sambargi, Kavyashree Gowda, Aryavardhan Guruji, and Neha Gowda. And keeping up with the tradition, Neha Gowda nominated Prashanth Sambargi to send straight to next week's elimination zone.

Neha Gowda, popular for roles in TV serials Lakshmi Baramma, Kalyana Parisu, and others, was joined by her sister and fellow actor Sonu Gowda and their father (popular make-up artist Mr. Ramakrishna) during the post-exit with host Kiccha Sudeep.

The ongoing season 9 of the hit reality show has an eclectic set of housemates to boast of that came about as a result of a new concept employed by the showrunners. With 18 contestants starting off the new season, the makers chose to split the group equally into veterans and newbies, allowing 5 participants from the previous Bigg Boss Kannada seasons to be part of the competition. 9 of the remaining lot were the first-timers while 4 top contestants - namely, Rakesh Adiga, Roopesh Shetty, Saanya Iyer, and Aryavrdhan from the recently-concluded Bigg Boss Kannada OTT season securing their respective spots.

The 5 contestants eliminated so far are motor racer Aishwarya Pissay, popular YouTuber Nawaz of Saik Nawwu, actor-entrepreneur Darsh Chandrappa, popular TV actress Mayuri Kyatari, and Neha Gowda.
