Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9: Prashanth Sambargi becomes second veteran to be eliminated from the show

Heading into week #11 with the final 10 in sight, Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 seemed quite evidently skewed towards the praveenaru. With 8 out of the 10 contestants, including the 3 from Bigg Boss Kannada OTT, boasting prior experience and a general idea of how the show works, many viewers reckoned that the veterans had an unfair advantage over the newbies. And with Rupesh Rajanna and Amulya Gowda standing as the only remaining representation of the naveenaru brigade, things certainly looked bleak for them all.

And yet, somehow, they forge on as Prashanth Sambargi becomes the second veteran to be eliminated from season 9. The popular media personality, who grew further in public prominence with his stint in Season 8 of Bigg Boss Kannada, was one of the eight contestants who were nominated earlier this week - Rakesh Adiga, Divya Uruduga, Deepika Das, Aryavardhan, Arun Sagar, Anupama Gowda, and Amulya Gowda being the other seven.

Although Prashanth Sambargi started off season 9 as one of the top contenders, the viewers found his lack of energy and vigour slightly uncharacteristic. Sambargi had gained a lot of notoriety in the previous season for his confrontational attitude and his sobering down in the subsequent season can be seen as one of the main factors for his elimination. In the post-elimination conversation with host Kiccha Sudeep, he would share that while he was upset over his exit, his performance over the last week or two did jeopardize his chances to a great extent.

Prashanth Sambargi would add that he saw himself staying in the competition for at least two more weeks - in his opinion, Rupesh Rajanna has amped his game multifold over the past couple of weeks and that he has every chance of finishing among the top 5. On a parting note, Sambargi shared that he would like to see either Arun Sagar or Roopesh Shetty winning Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9.
