Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 April 1, 2023 Written Update: Mohanlal revisits the events of the last week

Mohanlal welcomes audiences to the weekend episode of Bigg Boss Malayalam season 5, which he dubs the battle of the originals. He took viewers across some of the significant happenings that took place last week inside the house. These included some of the huge arguments that took place, the allotment of groceries, the brick wall task and the fights that took place in between, Rinosh’s raps, the stories everyone told about their lives, the jail nominations, Nadira and Akhil’s face off for captaincy, and more.

Mohanlal takes us across some of the casual morning scenes in the house, as the housemates have fun with each other. Sree Devi and Vishnu talk about how they are best friends, and discuss their friendship, and the latter says that he cannot let it affect his game.

Gopika tells the housemates that she was hurt when Akhil, during the collection of groceries, asked her and Angeline to step back and let others more capable of doing it take the lead on it. Gopika tells everyone that she is more than capable of doing things by herself. She also says that some people seem to not give her attention and space when she says something.

Devu tells Vishnu that she loves her best friends, and wants hugs from him every day. Akhil tries to defend himself against what Gopika said, and in the end he becomes emotional and starts crying. The rest of the housemates try to comfort him.

The contestants welcome Mohanlal with cheers. The host asked Gopika about her experience inside the house, questioned Rinosh about his sleepiness, Maneesha about her dancing skills and her sage advice. Angeline, Sree Devi, Akhil, Vishnu, Anjuz, Lachu, Shiju, Sruthi Lakshmi, Midhun, Cerena, Junaiz, Sobha, Nadira, Sagar, and Reneesha.

Junaiz and Nadira, who got the most ‘likes’ from the housemates, discussed the people who gave them likes. Angeline and Akhil, who got the most ‘dislikes’ also spoke about the same. Some housemates also took back some of their dislikes.

Mohanlal tells the contestants that they should play the game, and not be swayed by emotions. During the break, the contestants discuss whatever Mohanlal talked to them about. Akhil, Shiju and Gopika make up and sort out their differences. The host discussed Akhil’s captaincy with the rest of the housemates and asked them their expectations from the same.

Mohanlal advices the contestants to make the best of the opportunities that come their way. The host asks Rinosh to sing, and Junaiz busts out his famous ‘Thaatha’ character from his popular videos.

When Sruthi Lakshmi asks if Mohanlal will come to visit them, the actor replies that he has been in the desert for the past six months. He reveals that he has been shooting for a project in the deserts of Rajasthan, and was in Morocco before that. But he promises to try his best.
