Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 April 10, 2023 Written Update: Hanan is the first wild card entrant in the house

The intense incidents of Sunday night, when Mohanlal became upset and stopped the show abruptly, is on everyone’s mind. Shiju requests Bigg Boss to take a decision on the matter. Lachu, Devu, and Gopika discuss the events, and the trio agree that Akhil is at fault.

Akhil remains firm in his stance, saying that he will not apologise to Sagar. The former says that getting him to say sorry was a ploy and part of Sagar’s gameplan. Akhil and Sagar discuss what happened, and both blame the other. Nadira, Maneesha and the rest of the housemates try to reason with Akhil, who still refuses to budge. Later, Akhil and Sagar apologise to Bigg Boss and Mohanlal for their actions,and the rest of the housemates join in as well.

Anjuz has a bone to pick with Devu, accusing her of trying to meddle in the former’s affairs unnecessarily. Anjuz says that some of the things Devu says hurts her, and the latter apologises. Anjuz then becomes emotional and angry and raises her voice, accusing Devu of trying to change the former’s character. Meanwhile, Devu stoically discusses what happened with Maneesha. Anjuz goes on to say that even though Devu talked about coming to the show for her daughter’s sake, she was one of the biggest troublemakers in the house. Anjuz even went so far as to call Devu crooked minded. Anjuz is soon dragged away by the rest of the housemates.

Devu says that Anjuz used to approach the former with a lot of her problems, until recently. Devu reveals that she had just confronted Anjuz on this. Akhil continues to defend himself again and again. Anjuz and Devu start yelling at each other again, and Anjuz apologises for mentioning Devu’s daughter. The duo continue to argue.

The next morning, as Sagar starts to fulfil his captaincy duties, he is informed by Bigg Boss that because of the events that took place on Sunday, his captaincy was on hold till further notice. As punishment for their actions, the duo were nominated for next week’s eviction.

The housemates are startled when music starts to play and the door starts to open, welcoming the first wildcard entrant of the season - Hanan. The housemates discuss the new contestant, and some of them are not impressed with the young woman. Devu, Lachu, Cerena, Vishnu, Midhun and Nadira are among the housemates who do not like Hanan at first.

Gopika receives a loving happy birthday video message from her family. The contestant becomes emotional and celebrates her birthday with a cake sent by Bigg Boss. The contestant opens up to Lachu about how important her brother is to her.
