Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 April 20, 2023 Written Update: Gopika says goodbye to the house

Mohanlal shows the housemates a poem and music video Hanan made dedicated to them. The host enquired about Lachu’s health and went on to ask Omar how he found the Bigg Boss house. Mohanlal had told the housemates that Omar was there to audition them for his new movie, but the housemates were quick to figure out the truth that he was a wild card entrant.

The host then discussed the chaos that enfolded in the Chakravyuham task. Gopika also aired some of her concerns and her stint as Kitchen captain was also discussed among the housemates. Omar also opened up about some of the things he observed as a viewer. Gopika’s behaviour inside the house was the point of contention for many, and Mohanlal was also confused by many of the incidents. He also teased that the Chakravyuh task might return in the future. When Mohanlal left, arguments broke out between Gopika, Junaiz and Sagar.

The Kalikalam game was discussed by Mohanlal next, and many likened it to the old game of ‘Statue’. Sruthi Lakshmi received the get out of jail free card, which is valid for the next couple of weeks.

Mohanlal then moves on to the dreaded eviction process. Lachu, Gopika, Vishnu, Rinosh, Reneesha and Midhun are nominated for elimination this week. Rinosh, Reneesha and Midhun are revealed to be safe. The remaining three, Vishnu, Lachu and Gopika are required to take three wooden boxes before them and open them. The card in Vishnu and Gopika’s boc read ‘Saved’, while Lachu’s card reads ‘Evicted’. But in a turn of events, Gopika’s name is found to be written on the card that read ‘Evicted’.

Gopika has a difficult goodbye, and refuses to forgive Junaiz and Sagar for what they said about her. She tells Mohanlal that she believes the duo, whom she considered to be her friends in the beginning, have what it takes to win the game. She requests to see and talk to the contestants one more time, but the host has to politely decline the request at first, then allows it. She apologises to Sagar and Junaiz.
