Over the course of his time as host of the show, Mohanlal has become an integral part of Bigg Boss Malayalam. The actor returned to host the show for the fifth time for its latest season. After the show’s grand premiere for its fifth season, Mohanlal is all set to return to host the weekend episode of the reality show. As charming as ever, the host seemed to woo the contestants with his charisma.

A new promo for the upcoming episode shows Mohanlal enthralling the contestants with a lovely song. The conversation between him and the contestants soon turn to matters of the heart, and the host declares that he is ready to give his heart to the housemates, which is met with cheers and applause from both the contestants and audience alike.

The previous episode saw the first captaincy task of the season take place, where Nadira Mehrin and Akhil Marar battled it out for the crown of captain. Akhil emerged as the winner, and he divided the house into different teams for doing chores. Anjuz, Vishnu, Angeline and Sagar were chosen as the different captains to head the teams. Friday’s episode also saw Rinosh and Angeline be locked in the Bigg Boss jail.

The weekend episode will see the first ever eviction of the season take place. The contestants who are unsafe include Aniyan Midhun, Vishnu Joshi, Rinosh George, Gopika, Lachu(Aishwarya Suresh), Reneesha, Anjuz Rosh, and Angeline Mariya.
