Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 just got more exciting as 17 out of the 18 contestants have been nominated, the first such incident to happen on the Mohanlal-hosted reality show. Apart from the weekly nomination list, the rare mid-week nomination list was also announced by Bigg Boss on Monday. But the only BB contestant who stayed clear of both weekly and mid-week nomination lists was Abhilash.
17 of 18 contestants nominated in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7
In the mid-week eviction, Bigg Boss asked each of the contestants to explain why they should not be included in the list and also gave them the opportunity to nominate six people each. This saw Aneesh, Oneal Sabu, Renu Sudhi, Kalabhavan Sariga, Rena Fathima and Sarika KB getting added to the mid-week nomination list. Their fate would now depend on the tasks from Tuesday to Thursday, as two people from this list would be ousted based on this.
In the weekly nomination, Bigg Boss asked to nominate those who were not named in the mid-week nomination list. They were also asked to avoid Akbar and Shanavas, who were already nominated after the Panapetti task. Shaitya (6 votes), Appani Sarath (5 votes), Anumol, Binny, Gizele and Nevin (all four with 4 votes each) were named. Aryan and Adila-Noora, with three votes, and Bincy, with three votes, also made it to the weekly nomination list.
But nobody named Abhilash, who is popularly known as Abhisree, and he thus escaped nomination in both rounds, which fetched him even appreciation from Bigg Boss. This is the first such nomination in the history of BB Malayalam, the Bigg Boss further said.
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 temporarily suspended?
On the other hand, fans were concerned if Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 would be temporarily suspended after a promo video hinted so. Bigg Boss was heard saying that he would not assign any more tasks unless the housemates promised to abide by the rules. The contestants then agreed to follow the rules.
