From the lavish and aesthetically furnished house to the new interesting addition of Panipura, let’s take a look at how the new house has been designed to incorporate the contestants of the show hosted by Mohanlal.

Bigg Boss Malayalam gets own house

Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 made its grand premiere on August 3, 2025. But what is more exciting is that Bigg Boss Malayalam has finally got an exclusive house, which was also introduced to viewers on Sunday evening. Mohanlal took viewers on a tour of the house of Bigg Boss Malayalam, which has been designed by Rupali Kanchankumar Bandawane.

The launch episode begins with Mohanlal in the spacious garden of the new house. From the green lawn, he shows the Bigg Boss title that has been placed with a tilt, hinting at all the twists that we are to soon witness in the latest BB season. 

Mohanlal informs the viewers that he knows they are already aware that the Bigg Boss house has a kitchen, jail, confession room, bedroom, and bathroom. He takes us through the lavish kitchen, with tiles from Jaipur, a lavish bedroom, and the huge dining table, all designed aesthetically.  

But there is also a room that Mohanlal had specifically requested for - Panipura! The Thudarum actor said that he will make the contestants unpack all their belongings in the space and will have to win it back with their strategic games.

Desi house with modern touch

In a recent chat with Times of India, Rupali Kanchankumar Bandawane said that the new house will feature a beautiful blend of traditional aesthetics with modern design. Mural paintings and frescoes adorn the wall of the house, which has incorporated both desi hues of vermilion and vibrant shades of neon pink, the report added.

In an earlier promo teaser, host Mohanlal had a candid chat with the Bigg Boss himself, raising the demand of a new house.
