Bigg Boss OTT 2 July 4, 2023 Highlights: Jiya Shankar becomes new captain; Manisha, Bebika, Avinash, Cyrus, Jad, Falaq & Pooja get nominated this week

In the morning, Cyrus and Manisha clean the house in the morning while Abhishek mocks the actor-comedian. Cyrus cusses him hard and says that he always does his work in the house.

Manisha and Falaq talk about Bebika and share how the latter doesn't listen at all. The social media influencer further mentions how she was emotionally touched when Falaq and she has a spat. Both the girls further make up as friends.

Abhishek shuts his eyes for a couple of seconds, while hooter starts buzzing in the house and everyone surrounds him and starts mocking him that even being a captain he is sleeping.

In the evening, the garden area opens for all the contestants. 'Fall Of Captancy' task gets announced. The contestants get an opportunity to get another participant in the race for captaincy after winning a buzzer round. 

Abhishek wins 2 times and discards Bebika and Cyrus one after another. Everyone thinks, that it's unfair as Abhishek is winning each buzzer round because of his height.

Even the third time, Abhishek wins the buzzer round and gets the opportunity to evict another person from the captaincy race. This time he takes the power from Falaq.

The fourth time, Avinash wins the buzzer round and takes the power to run in the captaincy race from Abhishek (the latest captain). Post that, Abhishek wins again and discards Avinash out of spite. 

Avinash goes after that and takes Manisha's name out. Avinash ends the last buzzer round and takes Pooja's name, which makes Jiya the only contender for captaincy. And she becomes the captain of the house.

When asked, whom she wants to nominate in exchange for a safe contestant. She nominates Pooja and saves herself for this week's eviction.

Manisha, Bebika, Avinash, Cyrus, Jad, Falaq and Pooja become the final contestants nominated for this week's eviction.

Soon after becoming a captain, Jiya asks Manisha to sleep in her bed only and not outside as she has been doing. The latter explains that she has health issues and she cannot sleep in very cold due to the AC temperature. It becomes a heated conversation between both girls.

Moving on, Bigg Boss asks Jiya to distribute and give raashans to eight contestants according to her will and whom she thinks has broken the least to most. She also gets to name one person, who has broken most rules, and put him/her in jail.

She distributes raashans among the contestants, and names all the contestants she ranks from one to eight for rule-breaking, however, Bigg Boss counters her and says that it seems she has done it out of personal spite. In the end, she unveils that she wants to put Manisha in jail for rule-breaking, while everyone says that she is not doing the right thing.
